The Dallas Mavericks are now one win away from the NBA Finals as they came from behind to stun the Oklahoma City Thunder, 112-105 in overtime of Game 4 of their best-of-seven Western Conference Finals series.
Dallas trailed 99-84 before going on a blistering 17-2 run that sent the game into overtime.
Dirk Nowitzki put together another magnificent game, scoring 40 points, including 12 points in the fourth quarter. He also assisted on Jason Kidd's go-ahead three-pointer in the overtime period.
Once again, the young Thunder team had trouble executing late in the game. Kevin Durant had 29 points and 15 rebounds, but also turned the ball over nine times. He was bothered by the defense of Shawn Marion, who blocked Durant's three-point attempt that would've won the game for OKC in regulation.
Russell Westbrook had 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists, as well as six turnovers. OKC's super sub James Harden only had 7 points and fouled out in 22:53 of playing time.
The Thunder players threw the ball away 25 times and were once again terrible from behind the arc, shooting an anemic 2-of-13 three-point field goals.
Dallas now needs only more win to go back to the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Miami Heat in 2006.
