source THESPORTSDAYThe Miami Heat's Big Three saved Game 4, and pushed the Boston Celtics to the edge of the elimination cliff. All three Heat stars scored 20 or more points and held off the Celtics in OT, 98-90. The Big Three combined for 83 of Miami's 98 points, and 35 of the Heat's 45 rebounds.
LeBron James led all scorers and rebounders with 35 and 14, respectively, for a double-double. Chris Bosh registered his own double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Dwayne Wade was one rebound short of his own double-double with 28 points and 9 rebounds. Miami's bench scored a very sad 7 points total, to Boston's 21.
The Celtics' top performer was Paul Pierce, with 27 points and 8 rebounds. Ray Allen added 17 points, and the still-hampered Rajon Rondo added 10. One game after his monster Game 3, Kevin Garnett was held largely in-check with only 7 points, but did have 10 rebounds and blocked 2 shots.
All in all, just like their counter-part Los Angeles Lakers, the Celtics had no answer to the athletic and energetic Big Three of Miami. Game 5 will be back in Miami on Wednesday, 5/11 at 7pm ET.
