Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly traded veteran forward Lamar Odom to the Dallas Mavericks.
Both the Los Angeles Times and Dallas Morning News reported the deal late Saturday night. The Times reports the Lakers will receive the Mavericks' first-round pick in the 2012 draft. That newspaper also said the Mavs may send LA another draft pick too.
The 32-year-old Odom has spent the previous seven seasons in a Lakers uniform. He averaged 14.4 points and 8.7 rebounds over 82 games last season and hasn't missed a contest over the last two campaigns.
Odom, who won the sixth-man-of-the-year award last season, is due $8.9 million this season and has a team option of $8.2 million for 2012-13.
While the Lakers apparently completed a deal for Odom, they have reportedly pulled out of a potential trade for guard Chris Paul from New Orleans.
