LeBron James And Carmelo Anthony 1-2 In All-Star Voting For East Forwards

"Carmelo Anthony is almost assured of starting the All-Star Game alongside his good friend LeBron James.

The first fan voting results were released on Thursday by the NBA with LeBron and Melo running 1 and 2 among the Eastern Conference forwards. In fact, Anthony's teammate, Amar'e Stoudemire, is third behind Melo by more than 300,000 votes.

Among centers, Tyson Chandler is third behind Orlando's Dwight Howard and Chicago's Joakim Noah. In fact, Chandler trails Howard by nearly 700,000 votes. Fan voting ends on Jan. 31. The remaining seven players will be selected by the head coaches of their respective conferences."
