Timberwolves' Michael Beasley Expected To Miss Two More Games With Foot Injury

"Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley, trying to recover from a right midfoot sprain, said he's still experiencing soreness and is expected to miss the team's next two games.

Beasley, injured late in the fourth quarter Friday night against Cleveland, was projected to be out for three games. He said he was told "a couple of days ago" by Wolves trainer Gregg Farnam that he would be re-evaluated in a week.

"The swelling has gone down, but I can't put too much pressure on my toes and I can't put any weight on the ball of my foot," Beasley said before the Wolves' 111-100 loss to Chicago on Tuesday night at Target Center. "I'll probably have to give it four or five more days. I'm going to be smart about it." "
