Besiktas, the Turkish club that signed New Jersey Nets All-Star Deron Williams, had its accounts frozen in the wake of a soccer match-fixing schedule and it not permitted to sign players, according to DraftExpress.com's Jonathan Givony.
The news comes at an inopportune time for Besiktas -- the club, according Givony, was on the verge of signing Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant for $450,000 per month.
